Senior Facilities and Maintenance Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Facility and Maintenance team as an area owner
2. Champion for plant machinery performance with overall OEE and TPM ownership.
3. Design, Review and Monitor machinery performance and meet machine performance based on its design capacity.
4. Work closely with the Production team to maximize machine utilization, cut down idle time, or shorten machine setup time and machine downtime.
5. Champion for lean machinery optimization to create value for production and increase the volume of output.
6. Engineering mindset to approach challenges in a systematic drawn from the problem statement, to use methods such as idea brainstorming to troubleshoot issues that arise.
7. Ensure plant machinery TPM and OEE are at optimal levels with tight control in preventive and predictive maintenance.
8. Plan, scheduled, and control machinery parts renewal, consumables, and tools optimization as well as a good organization system at the mechanical plant with the 5s and Kaizen approach.
9. Positive learning attitude, contributing to mechanical and machinery improvement program, able to read and understand P and ID, flow chart, work instructions, risks assessment, and equipment specification with good engineering knowledge and practices.
10. Able to troubleshoot, and ad-hoc problem-solving while being able to engage/liaise with external contractors to do critical jobs within the plant.
11. Manage facility and building management with contractor management support.
12. Report to operation management and render any service to the production sector to ensure production output and KPIs are met.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree holder and above.
2. Computer literate.
3. Able to use Microsoft Office.
4. Able to maintain and upkeep filing of documents and records.
5. Experience in Facilities and Maintenance.
6. Able to manage team members and external suppliers or contractors.
7. Cooperative, teamwork and willing to learn.
