Job Summary
- Work closely with Centre Manager/ Mobile Medical Service Manager in the provision of customer-focus and efficient service to internal and external customers.
- Provide basic patient care and perform housekeeping duties in the centre under the supervision and guidance of a Staff Nurse.
- Provide prompt and professional services to customers.
- Attend to customers’ needs, resolve customer complaints, collect feedback and ensure smooth operations.
Job Description
Cashering & Medical Records Management
- Responsible for payment collection when assigned to cashier duties and ensure tally of end-of day sales with cash settlement and other transaction records.
- Accurate and meticulous in performing cashiering duty when assigned
- When assigned, to ensure the timely dispatching of medical reports, proper records and documentation of courier services in line with PDPA requirements.
- Tally and check end of day collection and supporting documents..
Administration and Personnel
- Responsible for reception of all appointment and walk-in patients at the medical centre or mobile medical services event.
- Responsible for accurate appointment scheduling / booking and registration for patients accurately via clinic system including updating of patient’s personal particulars such as email, mailing address and contact number.
- Ensure patients’ identifiers are verified for all patients when handling patient registration, which includes the verification of tests/procedures ordered by doctors.
- Ensure that relevant instructions are communicated effectively to patients prior to their tests/procedures.
- Ensure relevant Authorization Forms are filled in accurately with patients’ endorsement and approval,
- Ensure accurate application of promotions and discount vouchers appropriately and to validate its utilization via the clinic system.
- Adhere to policy and standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all important documents before dispatch, such as Australia vis forms, X-ray reports, etc.
- Ensure accuracy of clinical data and entry into computer system.
- Attend briefing / departmental meeting.
- Able to deploy to other medical centres or Mobile Medical Services (MMS) when necessary,
Public Relations
- Ensure a high standard of professional services to customers.
- Maintain a warm, friendly, safe, clean, and customer-centered work environment.
Equipment, Supplies, and Maintenance
- Responsible for keeping inventory of equipment and their maintenance.
- Responsible for reporting to the Centre Manager of any machine breakdown or damage to property.
- Responsible for adequate supplies of stationery and other consumables.
Others
- Ensure up to date product knowledge.
- Attend training when assigned by Centre Manager/ Mobile Medical Services Manager
- Maintains a safe and clean environment for the patient at all times.
- Accompanies patients to various departments as and when required.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Centre Manager.
