Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Part-Time Art Teacher to join our team. This role involves designing and delivering engaging art lessons for children, passionate for art while helping students develop their creative skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in art education, a passion for working with children, and the ability to create a vibrant, inspiring classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and teach art lessons for children, tailored to various age groups and skill levels.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration and self-expression.
- Plan and implement diverse art projects using different media and techniques.
- Provide individual and group instruction, guiding students through the creative process and skill development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining records.
- Organize and participate in art shows or exhibitions to showcase students' work.
- Maintain and manage art supplies and classroom resources effectively.
- Collaborate with other educators and participate in team meetings and professional development.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience teaching art to children is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in chid care is a plus.
- Strong understanding of various art techniques, media, and art history.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Creative, patient, and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for art education.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Able to work on Sat and Sun.
