Roles & Responsibilities
We are a company that manufactures processed meat products.
Being a food processing supervisor requires you to:
- Uphold the standards of food preparation, hygiene and quality of finished products.
- Prepare, thaw, cut up and pack frozen meat.
- Operate heavy machinery that cooks, mixes, blends and can the products.
- Observe and detect any anomalies in the functioning of the machines.
- Record production data for each batch of products.
- Periodically take stock of ingredients, packing and raw materials.
- Lift heavy loads of up to 30 kilograms per carton.
- Inspect all equipment after cleaning up at the end of the day.
- Be comfortable to work in cold rooms with prolonged period of being on one's feet.
- Report to work for six (6) days a week.
- Read, write and converse in English.
- Have at least two years of experience working in a food processing industry.
