- a. Stock checking, labelling, issuing and collection of assets (including GSIBS, Internet Devices, secured USB thumb drives, etc).
- Manage the security assess of the Data Centre (sign in/out of visitor book, issuing passes) and tidiness of DC
- Monitor the facilities M&E, fire suppression and security infrastructure (include UPS, air-cons, power DBs, CCTV, door access, fire suppression, etc) in the DC and any related monitoring systems and physical inspection to ensure that they are within the operating levels. (need to take reading on the temperature and power consumption, etc)
- Manage the access by various contractors for projects or support maintenance of computer systems, network, storage or various DC infrastructure.
- Monitor the alarms or alerts on computer system abnormalities and job failures and escalate accordingly.Extensive knowledge garnered working as a Data Center Operatorg. Thorough knowledge of
- Data Center Operations with strong knowledge of Operations methodology.
- Strong ability to examine backups
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure technology and components for installation.
- Require to respond to phone calls and emails.
