The Production Planner is responsible for the premix plant’s short-term capacity plan and daily production schedule to ensure customer orders can be produced on-time and in-full. The Planner should ensure that the production schedule adheres to plant’s capacity and quality requirements, and that schedule-related capacity losses are minimized.

Your key responsibilities
- Develop production schedule: Work with extended supply chain teams and other functions to develop production schedules that take into account factors such as production capacity, inventory levels, and customer demand.
- Monitor inventory levels: Responsible for monitoring inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to enable smooth production without disruption and without creating unnecessary inventory of finished goods.
- Manage production workflow: Manage the production workflows, including scheduling machine time and coordinate with the other departments on resource/labor allocation, quality requirements, etc.
- Analyze production data: Analyze production data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost savings.
- Identify and resolve production issues: Proactively identify potential delays and bottlenecks in production, and lead resolution together with other functions.
- Collaborate with other departments: Collaborate with other departments such as sales, commercial, supply chain, procurement, QA/QC and logistics to ensure that production schedules are aligned with overall business objectives.
You bring
- Min. Diploma in Supply Chain or any related field
- Min. 2 years experience in production planning in the food / beverage / nutrition manufacturing industry
- Ability to work with different functional teams effectively
- Good communication skills
- Experience in SAP
