About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer to join company's team. In this role, you will drive the planning, scheduling, and reporting functions, ensuring seamless coordination with the construction team and subcontractors. Your insights and strategies will be crucial in managing project timelines and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Utilize Primavera P6 to track progress, manage time and cost entitlements, and develop comprehensive contract programmes and high-level summaries for presentations.
- Progress Monitoring: Keep a close eye on construction programme progress, identify delay events and their impacts, and assist in preparing Extension of Time (EOT) claims and client presentations.
- Reporting & Analysis: Create detailed progress reports, S-Curves, progress trackers, and conduct programming health checks to ensure project alignment.
- Recovery & Optimization: Develop recovery programmes and summarise key strategies to overcome challenges, including preparing baseline schedules with resource and cost loading.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Planning Engineer and Manager to refine strategies, analyze schedules, and maintain open communication channels.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in the Singapore construction industry, with a preference for high-rise commercial buildings, mixed developments, semiconductor factories, or healthcare projects.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of work execution related to methodology, timeframes, and productivity.
