Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and track chiller maintenance activities.
- Ensure adherence to maintenance checklists and schedules.
- Test, commission, and fine-tune new chillers independently.
- Oversee on-site project execution, including FAT and SAT, for optimal chiller performance.
- Interpret technical documents, as-built drawings, and schematics.
- Analyze operating data and address repair issues as needed.
- Manage chiller overhauls and supervise subcontractors for quality assurance.
- Prepare detailed service reports for each assignment.
- Address customer service issues promptly and recommend preventive measures.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety during service and repairs.
- Perform additional tasks as required by the Department Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum ITE Certificate with Merit in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience with chiller systems.
- Proficient in guiding and troubleshooting HVAC faults, particularly with modular screw chillers, centrifugal chillers, and absorption chillers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed service reports.
- Strong safety mindset and adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards.
- Willingness to undertake short-term overseas assignments
