Roles & Responsibilities
• Assist Head of Wealth Planning Competency Centre with the development and implementation of
o Legal template, standard documents
o Product Guides, Frameworks, Flowcharts
o Internal guides or policies (where applicable)
and identifying areas of improvement to legal precedents and develop new templates in line with business needs.
• Support in Complex Structures assessment / onboarding and Transactions
• Liaise with bank stakeholders (e.g. Trustee, Wealth Planning teams) and external legal and tax advisors
• Assist with trainings for RMs, WPs & banking Trust Managers (TMs) through coordinating internal and external trainings conducted by external professionals
• Review, comment and analyse legal and tax opinions
• Assist with monitoring new laws and regulations, development relevant to the business and drafting updates via Wealth Planning Brief and Fact Sheet on latest development with respect to regulatory and taxation environment
• Support Head of Wealth Planning Competency Centre with Bank’s stakeholders on strategic initiatives with a Wealth Planning Focus
• Handle any other work assigned from time to time by Head of Wealth Planning Competency Centre
Job Requirements/Skills and Qualifications:
• Degree in law or accountancy / STEP qualified (preferred)
• Several years of experience working as in-house counsel or preferably with prior experience in the knowledge management division of a law firm
• Solution oriented with an eye for accuracy
