Contract employment
Work conditions: Must be willing to work 100% in office (no hybrid), on early morning shifts 7am-4pm
Mandatory:
1) Must have trading floor environment experience in an investment bank / private bank
2) Must have experience using WEYTEC system (its a communication system used in trading floor)
3) Must have min 7 to 10 years of experience.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides second-line investigation and diagnosis
- Resolves and closes incidents/service requests as per help desk procedures & allocated timelines
- Escalates unresolved incidents/service requests within agreed timescales
- Logs relevant incident/service request details per help desk procedures
- Communicates with client regarding incident progress
- Troubleshoots and resolves PC incidents and/or VIP requests
- Ensures tickets are updated at all times until issues are resolved
- Liaises with clients, other IT support groups and 3rd party providers when necessary
- Coordinates with vendors for hardware repair
- Performs staging of PCs
- Performs IMAC (Install, Move, Add and Change)
- Administrate mobile phone contracts (Blackberry and Smartphones)
- Markets (Trading) support with their unique workstations setup and requirements
- Support the night desk staff who work outside of the standard office hours
- Prepare Video Conferences on request
- Assists on special events coverage
- Creates/maintains documentation
