Business Analyst

Requirements:

• An undergraduate degree in business-related or IT-related fields

• At least 3+ years relevant working experience, including business analysis/product management of system used in similar functions, in asset management domain

• Strong sense of ownership and growth mindset

• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with good problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of user-centric principles and/or service design

• Adept communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders across all levels

• Experience working in cross-functional groups, representing views of different stakeholders and influencing teams towards achieving shared goal

• Ability to manage a number of projects at the same time, with varying technical requirements, level of stakeholder engagement and completion timeline

• Ability to adapt to changing business requirements due to unforeseen restrictions / constraints in the existing system.

• Experience in developing test plan and managing testing for project implementation / enhancements

• Experience in developing and maintaining user guide and system documentations

• Experience in managing project scheduling and timelines for prompt completion of work tasks


Key Responsibilities


• Work closely with managers to understand their business requirements, and translating these business requirements to technical requirements, and vice versa

• Design, test and implement processes/tools/systems in partnership with in-house IT, risk, and finance teams as well as external software vendors and service providers to support the front-office investment workflow

• Develop and write test plans for system, process and product upgrades, as well as participate in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Develop and maintain user guides and documentations relating to processes/tools/systems implemented for front-office investment workflow

• Plan and work with multiple departments – on implementing road maps of desired front-office workflow, including feature development and upgrades

• Ensure front-office processes and procedures meet internal standards for data integrity, security and auditability

• Monitor, analyse and troubleshoot front-office processes to ensure their smooth functioning. This includes liaising with the in-house IT department as well as external service provider in the troubleshooting and resolution of production issue

• Manage project implementations with vendors and service providers, covering procurement and related administrative issues

• Oversee change management to facilitate new product and/or system adoption, including possible re-engineering of workflow and processes.
