NES Fircroft is currently supporting a MNC Pharmaceutical company to recruit a Automation Engineer (MES) on a permanent basis for their manufacturing site in TUAS.
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Actively support the design and implement process control systems (PCS) and Digital solutions, to control and optimize Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing operations
- Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time on agreed targets, develop plans for own projects and leads small project teams.
- Monitor, generate and complete the periodic review, validation master plan for the automation engineering program.
- Demonstrate good planning, organizing, time management and team participation skills.
- Responsible for routine and preventive maintenance work, ensure all the equipment and facilities work safely, efficiently and reliably.
- Generate and develop standard operating procedures and system support.
- Analyze operational process problems and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
- Manage change control authoring and execution.
- Participate in Process Centric Teams (PCT) in supporting the development of production recipes and devising automation solutions that improve productivity, business operations and safety/quality standards.
- Participate in the site and network wide teams to provide alignment and direction across various automation initiatives.
- Knowledge and of Automation systems integration to Digital Manufacturing applications / systems used for manufacturing.
- Modify moderately complex to highly complex control logic that requires a degree of scientific and/or manufacturing process expertise.
- Mentor and guide junior staff and serve as a technical trainer, whenever necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Automation Engineering
- Experience of Rockwell / Pharmasuite MES
- Experience with writing software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents
- Experience on Automation Compliance projects
- Familiar with process controls equipment
- Strong knowledge of Computerized Systems, Compliance regulations and standards
