Role and Responsibilities:
• take primary responsibility in ensuring that all students in their assigned classes attain to their maximum potential with the objectives of securing:
- consistently high standards of learning and teaching;
- continual progress in educational achievements; and
- positive attitudes to learning and school.
• plan and prepare lessons in line with EIC's approved course curriculum, module scheme of work (SOW), using appropriate methods and resources. Approved course, module and lesson learning outcomes should be met.
• mark and monitor students' class and homework providing constructive oral and written feedback, and setting targets for students' progress. Ensure deadlines are met to instil a strong sense of responsibility in students for their own learning.
• contribute to the development and review of SOWs and academic policies and processes
• providing timely academic intervention and support through remedial, student-specific assignments, etc.
• ensure effective classroom management during curriculum time and provide feedback to Form Teacher or Teacher-mentor on students' behaviour and learning.
• support the accurate monitoring and tracking of students' learning in all internal assessment exercises in the areas of setting, vetting and marking of assessment papers, and invigilation of assessment.
Requirements:
• Minimum a Bachelors Degree
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
Working hours:
Part Time: Mon to Fri between 9am to 4pm

$45 to $50 per hour
