Job Description
Your duties shall cover but not restricted to the following:
- Ensure work methods and procedures comply with all relevant WSH regulations, including but not limited to WSH (Construction) regulations
- Review activity-based Risk Assessment, MOS for respective site works
- Assist in implementing Permit to Work system and provide close site supervision for high risk activities (such as heavy lifting, working at height, scaffold erection, etc.)
- Conduct routine safety inspection and audits (as per ISO45001 requirements)
- Conduct in-house safety training and presentation (such as Mass Tool Box meetings) to brief workers on safe work practices
- Document and keep records of all safety documents submission (Toolbox meeting records, PTWs)
- Liaise with client safety department / personnel to obtain clearance for daily work on site
- Conduct incident investigation and present findings / recommendations to management
Requirements
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health
- MOM accredited WAH course for Assessors / MOM accredited WAH course for Managers
- Lifting Supervisor Safety Course (Good to Have)
- Hardworking and positive attitude, able to work well with others
- Good knowledge of relevant safety standards and site installation procedures. Familiarity in M&E work methods and sequence will be a strong advantage
- Good written and spoken English
- At least 3 years working experience in Singapore construction industry
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering will be a strong advantage
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office (especially Word and Powerpoint)
