We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Security Consultant to
join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying and
mitigating security risks, performing vulnerability assessments, and
supporting the implementation of security measures. This is an excellent

Key Responsibilities
Security Assessments: Assist in conducting security assessments,
including vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and risk assessments.
Incident Response: Participate in the investigation and response to
security incidents, providing support in identifying root causes and
implementing corrective actions.
Security Monitoring: Support the monitoring of networks, systems,
and applications for security breaches or incidents using security tools
and technologies.
Compliance: Assist in ensuring that security policies, standards, and
procedures are followed and updated in accordance with industry best
practices and regulatory requirements.
Documentation: Help maintain and update security documentation,
including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, IT
departments, and clients to understand security requirements and
implement solutions that align with business goals.
Training and Awareness: Support the delivery of security awareness
training to employees and clients, promoting a culture of security.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information
Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications
(e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related roles.
Internship experience in cybersecurity is desirable.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, and intrusion
detection/prevention systems.
Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS).
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001,
NIST).
Experience with security incident handling and response is an
advantage.
