We are seeking an experienced, dedicated Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our team. In this position, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.
Purpose:
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the QC Department to ensure quality is achieved and maintained.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Perform independently complex, routine, and non-routine laboratory activities including analytical tasks and sample preparation.Testing of incoming material and finished products and approve the product within the time stipulated.
· Identify and troubleshoot common problems/issues encountered.
· Keep daily record and appropriate documentation on all laboratory work performed.
· Manage stock of lab supplies & raw material as well as storage of samples prepared and maintain clean and well organized laboratory/work place.
· Independently operate standard equipments/procedures to the required level.
· Assure compliance of HS&E procedure and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety.
· Independent and efficient use of all internal tools for data collection/recording and administration.
· Maintain awareness of technology and issues affecting own job.
· To liaise with other Departments and affiliates for the preparation and issuance of Product Specification, Certificate of Analysis, Safety Datasheets, GLC profile and other quality-related documents.
· Experience in handling GC, LCMS, GCMS is preferred.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Chemistry with at least 1 year of relevant working experience
Ability to work independently as well as within a multi-cultural team
Must be willing to work shift when required.
