We are looking for a passionate and motivated Cyber Security Intern who is currently enrolled in college and seeking an opportunity to gain hands-on experience. This role will focus on providing support to our cyber security team, assisting in daily operations, and helping to chase follow-ups on key security tasks and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the cyber security team with daily tasks, including monitoring, incident response, and reporting.
- Support in chasing and following up on outstanding security-related tasks and action items.
- Perform research on emerging cyber security threats, trends, and tools.
- Help document and maintain security protocols, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely updates and compliance with security standards.
- Assist with the implementation of security policies and controls.
- Provide administrative support as needed, such as preparing reports and presentations for internal use.
- Participate in team meetings and offer suggestions for improving security workflows.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a college program, preferably studying Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of cyber security principles, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
