We are looking for Marginman production support – L2 with some experience of development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for the MarginMan application, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system monitoring.
- Manage and resolve incidents related to MarginMan, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
- Assist end-users with application-related queries and provide training as needed to ensure effective use of the system.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as system health checks, data validation, and log monitoring to ensure application stability.
- Participate in the change management process, including testing and deployment of application updates, patches, and enhancements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and work with development teams to implement long-term solutions.
- Maintain and update support documentation, including troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and user manuals.
- Work closely with other Dev teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to address application issues and improve overall system performance.
- Ensure that all support activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in development and application support, preferably in a financial services environment.
- Must know the Marginman application
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Skill Set:
- Proficiency in Java , MSSQL and database management.
- Familiarity with Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- In-depth knowledge of the MarginMan application.
- Strong understanding of financial products, margin calculations, and risk management principles.
