The primary responsibility is to facilitate effective communication between Japanese and English-speaking (and vice versa) staff members/associate company/external visitors/vendors within the manufacturing plant and/or the organization. The role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a harmonious working environment.
-Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
-Experience in translation and interpretation, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
-Experience working in a Japanese Company is preferred.
-Alternatively, having studied in Japan will be of added advantages.
-Proficiency in both Japanese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to provide swift and accurate translate and/or interpretation service in office environment and/or out-field.
-A deep understanding of technical and manufacturing terminology in both Japanese and English will be advantageous.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.
-Ability to function effectively in team situations both within and across departments and external organizations to achieve optimal collective results.
