Assistant QA & Process Manager
Job Brief:
Facilitate and drive continuous improvement program and lead some projects. Conduct site inspection, address customer complaints / inquiries and generate reports. Initiate, develop and conduct in-house and external QA tests process for products. Familiar with ISO 9001, process excellence, and other improvement methodology will be an advantage. Provide training to employees on quality or continuous improvement methodology when needed.
Job Descriptions:
- Manage quality procedures and inspection standards for product and the training of quality personnel
- Facilitate and / or lead quality and process improvements to products and services
- Review and implement quality management system and ensure meeting international standards in term of document control and compliance requirements
- Review, design and approve quality control documents, checklists, check sheets, calibration and component testing reports
- Study customers’ products specifications and requirements and counter-propose to customers if needed
- Generate specifications and inspection criteria for in-house and customer
- Support Sales in addressing customers’ complaints and inquiries, doing site inspections and generating reports for customers
- Responsible for the training or refresher training of production QC personnel regarding QC techniques and inspection methodology and procedure
- Establish and plan calibration and test methods (internally or externally) and determine how best to perform to achieve high QA for products
- Generate, verify and communicate with suppliers on non-conformance products and follow through to closure
- Chair and drive the continuous improvement program
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Manufacturing, Process, Product Engineering & Quality
- Knowledge in Process Improvement & Quality Management
- Require to do quality inspection and test with production staff on production floor
- Require to do inspection at sites occasionally
