As Deputy Director for Planning Strategy and Data Analysis, you will lead and mentor a team to develop strategies for the organisation’s needs, as well as perform corporate reporting. You should excel at communicating, engaging multiple stakeholders including government agencies, conducting evidence-based studies and analysis, and moving strategies into implementation.
Job Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the team to work with internal and external stakeholders to:
- Conceptualise, conduct and present studies on corporate strategy, overall employment and employability landscape, etc. to e2i Board and senior management (including NTUC senior management). A key ongoing project is to reimagine how the NTUC Training and Placement Ecosystem can better empower business transformation for companies and hence enhance job security for workers.
- Organise annual corporate planning sessions to conceptualise overall workplan and communicate corporate strategy.
- Create and implement plans to achieve organisation’s goals in areas such as operational effectiveness, processes, resource allocation, stakeholder management, etc.
- Negotiate, coordinate, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Workforce Singapore (WSG) on corporate KPIs and strategic issues. This includes establishing systems to monitor and track KPIs.
- Perform Secretariat duties for e2i Board meetings and supporting senior management on preparation for meetings with key stakeholders.
- Plan for and maintain clean data to be used for data analysis.
- Create and deliver regular reports and presentations with compelling narratives and data-driven insights to stakeholders to aid decision-making.
- Support senior management with any new and complex issues that do not fit neatly into clear categories.

- At least 10 years’ experience in planning/policy, consultancy, or strategy formulation and working with data
