About the Job
Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining the application while coordinating with the rest of the team to build backend fintech product. Your other responsibilities are as follow:
- Upgrade the trading system in the financial/blockchain space, making sure it’s fast, reliable, and always available.
- Write clean, easy-to-maintain code using best practices.
- Respond quickly to any problems in production and work with the team to fix them.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup and flexible environment.
Requirements
You would need min bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of HTTP, WebSocket, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Proficient in one of the languages: Java, Python, Golang, Node.js, C++, or Rust.
- Skilled in PostgreSQL and SQL optimization.
- Experience with scalable microservices, APIs, and caching (e.g., Redis).
- Familiar with messaging queues (e.g., Kafka) and AWS infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
- Experience in FSI / Payment / Blockchain industries would be a PLUS
