Our client is an established medical business here in Singapore and we are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join them.
About the job
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will lead a team of three Accounts Executives and oversee all accounting and finance functions for the Singapore entity. This role includes managing cash flow, handling the full set of accounts, reviewing and approving AP entries and payments, overseeing AR collections, and preparing timely management reports. Additional responsibilities involve preparing annual forecasts and budgets, calculating commissions, reviewing GST filings, managing BG & LC applications, handling government statistics returns, and preparing tax and audit schedules. You will also liaise with external auditors and insurance agents, and handle any ad-hoc tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will be motivated, a team player, and highly meticulous.
Skills and experience required
Candidates should possess a recognized accounting degree or equivalent qualification and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and FP&A. Experience in team management is essential, and familiarity with amortization will be highly advantageous.
