The National Institute of Education invites suitable applications for the position of Research Assistant on a 12-month contract at the Science of Learning in Education Centre, Office of Education Research.
Project Title: The NIE NTU A*STAR Partnership Project
Project Introduction:
The NIE, NTU (School of Computer Science and Engineering) and A*STAR partnership was launched on 1 September 2022. NIE is leading the existing project and will participate in research project management and submissions of joint research grants.
Pivoting the strategic plan for Science of Learning to deepen research partnerships towards the classroom of the future, the NIE NTU A*STAR Partnership builds research capacity by creating opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skills development.
Requirements
- At least a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, psychology, computer science, neurological science or equivalent from a reputable university
- Interest in educational research
Responsibilities
- Manage and administratively support multiple joint projects including note taking
- Organise regular project progress meetings with internal and external collaborators
- Coordinate new project proposals towards joint grant submissions
- Update NIE people manager on work progress on a regular basis
- Other tasks assigned including literature review &/or data collection
