Job Description

APSH-NUS Hypertension Research Network Center

Part of the NUSMed Cardiovascular-Metabolic Disease Translational Research Program

(1) Human research and subject protection certification (CITI, ethics);

(2) Human biomedical research (HBR) training and certification;

(3) study administration (ethics platform management, ECOS, NUS IRB);

(4) basic Microsoft office documents editing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook);

(5) basic biostatistics (JMP software or equivalent);

(6) questionnaire-based research;

(7) Qualtrics or survey-platform deployment;

(8) RedCaps or research database management;

(9) friendly, outgoing, motivated and self-initiated character.

Scope of research work:

1. “Questionnaire-based surveys on knowledge, attitudes, and practice in the diagnosis and management of hypertension among doctors, patients, caregivers, and allied health professionals.”
2. Support grant proposals in new areas of research

Qualifications

• Basic degree in biomedical sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or similar.
• Other certifications in human research training are advantageous.
• Candidates with no experience, and intensive training provided.
