This is a full-time position that requires you to work on-site within the church premises. Request to work from home for limited days per month can be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the work requirements and prevailing organisational policies.
You will report to Finance & Admin Manager, work with various ministry staff and providing assistance for the overall finance and admin operations of the church.
Job responsibilities
- Performe account receivable/payables for respective sections
- Data entry and invoice processing
- Reconcile monthly banking statements and other bank-related matters
- Any other ad hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned from time to time.
- Handle & process medical claims for staff via hurman resource system
- Handle payroll process for the church and preschool
- Assist in annual report compilation for the church and provide administrative support to the management
- Handle inquiries from tenants, ad-hoc and wedding for church premises
Education,Working Experience & Skills Requirement:
- Minimum LCCI or a polytechinic diploma
- Relevant working experience 1 to 3 years
- Candidate is required to liaise with the Chinese Section on some administrative matters occassionally. Basic knowledge of Mandarin is essential.
- Prior experience in finance and administrative roles within charities and churches will be an added advantage
- Able to work with people of various backgrounds
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of Ms office applications, accounting systems, human resources management systems
