Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage full set of accounts functions and audit schedules.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the organisations financial system and determine any areas of improvement.
- Support strategic planning processes by providing financial insights and analysis.
- Liase with tax agent for ECI and Corporate Income Tax submission.
- Assist in forecasting and budgeting exercises.
- Responsible in details stock taking of handover/takeover of properties.
- Manage a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
- A hands-on team player with initiative and a strong sense of accountability.
- Perform month-end reviews for the Management Report including month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing Journals and Audit Schedules.
- Handle quarterly GST and monthly CPF submissions.
- Ensure that invoicing and collections are timely and accurate.
- Ensure the timely processing and sending of invoice upon the completion of engagement;
- Good analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks and provide support to the Management.
Job requirements
• Candidate must possess Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
• Must have proficiency with ACCPAC Accounting Software and Microsoft Office.
• Able to multi-task and meticulous, willing to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Minimum 7-10 years of working experience in accounting.
• Knowledge in General Accounting, Taxation, Payroll, Bank Reconciliation, underwriting will be an advantage.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently.
