Job Description:
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Security Systems Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automatic door systems. This role requires technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, as well as strong problem-solving skills to ensure the efficient operation of automatic entrances. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in the field. Geographical Coverage: Singapore inclusive of the islands and offshore locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out scheduled maintenance and retrofits of automatic door parts, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components. Conduct site checks on automatic entrances, troubleshoot issues, and propose parts recommendations for user consideration. Provide detailed site reports to clients upon completion of works, including testing, commissioning, decommissioning, and risk assessments of all automatic entrance-related systems and products. Propose upgrades for automatic door entrances and provide feasible solutions for clients' existing door systems. Ensure the assigned service vehicle is in good roadworthy condition, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at all times. Stay updated on product information and technical know-how for both own products and competitors' products.
Qualifications:
· Minimum Diploma in Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years work experience on automatic doors (Pedestrian)
· Possess a Class 3 Driving License
· Understand technical documents and be able to compile and edit for information dissemination
· Proficiency in Chinese and English language to communicate with clients
