Job Summary:
We are in search of a Robotics Engineer with a Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics or related fields, possessing strong skills in Linux, C++, and ROS. The candidate will play a pivotal role in developing advanced robotic systems, with responsibilities across various sites in Singapore and potentially overseas. The first year will be under a government-supported traineeship program, offering a monthly stipend and structured training. Upon successful completion, the role will transition to full-time employment, with salary adjustments based on educational qualifications and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of robotic systems, focusing on innovation and practical application.
- Research and implement solutions in robotic motion planning and control systems, particularly in Linux, C++, and ROS environments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of robotic systems.
- Conduct tests and simulations to ensure optimal performance and reliability of robotic systems.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics and automation to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, C++, and ROS.
- Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of robotic systems.
- Effective project management skills with a track record of leading successful projects in robotics.
- Willingness to participate in a 1-year government-supported training program and commit to full-time employment afterward.
Working Conditions:
- Working hours: 10 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The workweek consists of flexible 5 days per week, with mutual agreement on working days. Public holidays are off.
- Work may involve travel to customer sites in Singapore or abroad for system setup, maintenance, upgrade, repair, etc.
- 12 days of annual leave.
Salary:
- Master's Graduate (Robotics):
First year:Monthly stipend: SGD 3,500 (government-supported training program)
Additional monthly pay: SGD 2,500
Second year:Monthly salary: SGD 6,000
- Ph.D. Graduate (Robotics):
First year:Monthly stipend: SGD 3,500 (government-supported training program)
Additional monthly pay: SGD 4,500
Second year:Monthly salary: SGD 8,000
Key Requirements:

- At least 1 year of full-time experience
