Responsibilities:
The IT Support Engineer will be responsible, but not limited to the following:
- Perform installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of PCs, Servers, and Network hardware.
- Provide technical support to staff on hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist in resolving network-related problems including CCTVs.
- Troubleshoot steps, and provide any solutions for IT-related matters.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses.
- Interface with vendors for any technical services.
- Evaluate and recommend PC, Servers, and Network hardware products for purchase.
- Provide IT status reports as and when required.
- Create and maintain documentation related to IT systems, procedures and troubleshooting ideas.
- Involve in ad-hoc projects, and provide IT support if required.
- Maintain and update the IT policy.
- Assist HR & Admin Team on onboarding and off boarding administration, and manage issuance / collection of any IT assets.
- Assist Operations Team in managing the vehicle-related matters, including insurance and road taxes.
- Undertake any administrative duties as assigned by the management from time to time.
Requirement:
- Minimum a diploma / degree in information technology or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge in IT operations, server hardware, windows systems administration, network infrastructure.
- Understand IT best practices and security issues.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Good working attitude and good communication skills.
- Able to work as a team and independently.
- Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday)
- May be required to work beyond working hours when required.
- This is an individual contributor role.
