Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare and analyse financial statements using Excel and accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance
with regulatory requirements and finance policies.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to provide
insights to management

Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Utilise Excel, accounting software, reporting tools to assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets, providing timely variance analysis and
explanations.

Finance Operations Duties:
• Ensure that invoicing and collections are timely and accurate
• Ensure payments are duly verified and paid in accordance to contracted credit terms
• Process and ensure accurate payroll payout for assigned entities

Business Partnering:
• Collaborate with entity heads and business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide tailored
support and analysis.
• Create financial models and scenarios to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

Strategic Planning and Decision Support:
• Support strategic planning processes by providing financial insights and analysis.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, new business ventures, and cost-saving initiatives through financial modeling
and feasibility studies.

Process Improvement and Optimisation:
• Identify opportunities to streamline overall finance processes and improve efficiency
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation initiatives, ensuring
compliance with accounting standards.
• Project member in the implementation of upcoming finance systems.

Audit end to end:
• Coordinate and manage the entire audit process from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with audit
standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare audit schedules, gather supporting documentation, and liaise with auditors to address inquiries and
requests.

Taxation:
• File and review quarterly GST form 5 for assigned entities.
• Liase with tax agent for ECI and Corporate Income Tax submission.
• Advise on withholding tax and other tax implication for overseas transactions mainly but not limited to APAC
countries.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Independent with minimum supervision and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer focused, positive work attitude and self-motivated
  • Meticulous and good analytical skills
