Alola is looking for a SUPERSTAR to lead our social media marketing and content creation!


We are looking for someone who

…can create and star in TikTok videos (be our influencer!)

…enjoys creating memes on IG (Chief Meme Officer anyone?)

…likes to be a bit controversial and rebellious

…appreciates the manager’s dad jokes (optional)

…doesn’t want to be desk bound and loves doing meetings out of office

…is outgoing and a bit crazy - like creatively crazy

…got rizz and knows what is skibidi. No cap.

…loves travel and travel content

…will make our social media content totally slayyyy

JOB DESCRIPTION


Responsibilities typically include


Social Media

  • Channel Management: Manage the Alola’s social media accounts and profiles,including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Community Management: Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a timely and in a manner consistent with our brand personality.
  • Traffic Management: Maintain social media calendar and content management
  • Campaigns: Develop and execute social media campaigns that are in line with the company’s marketing goals and objectives
  • Monitor industry trends and stay up to date with social media best practices and emerging platforms
  • Social media analytics

Content Creation

  • Create and curate engaging content, including text, images, and videos, IG/FB storiesand reels, that resonate with the target audience, drive engagement and increase traffic
  • Conceptualise, design and layout artworks for both online (e.g. social media posts, ad banners, articles, website, etc) and offline platforms (e.g. brochures, posters, banners)
  • Create videos using tools such as After Effects, Premier Pro, Canva
  • Research and plan content strategy for social media campaigns by considering the latest trends
  • Organize, document, and archive visual assets, maintain the ISCA image library
  • Create social media visuals and videos, including IG and FB stories and reels
  • Storyboard, Direct and Produce Tik Tok videos
  • Support the team in social media content management

Others

  • Assist in vendor or partner communications where necessary

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree/diploma in Mass Communications or New Media.
  • At least three years’ relevant work experience in social media and content creation
  • Proficient in producing engaging and creative artwork (min. requirement is Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus)
  • Video production and editing skills preferred.
  • Confident in public speaking and appearing as the face of Alola on our social media channels or willing to grow skills in this area
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engagingcontent that resonates with the target audience
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant platforms, and their best practices
  • Experience in managing social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting,targeting, and optimization
  • Creative, resourceful and meticulous individual who can meet work objectives independently
  • Strong attention to detail
