Job Description & Requirements
- Responsible for preparing quantities of materials necessary for procurement and tendering.
- Responsible for preparing pre- and post-tender contract quantity surveys.
- Responsible for tracking submissions of subcontractor progress claims and variations.
- Responsible for managing projects and ensuring that all requirements and needs as stipulated in tenders are matched and fulfilled timely and accurately.
- Management and evaluation of all progress claims matter to project owners and subcontractors.
- Responsible for contract documentation on all projects on aspects of subcontracting, the evaluation of tenders and quotes, and account finalization for both main contractors and subcontractors.
- Work closely with the site support team to ensure the subcontractor's scope of work is executed in accordance with the main contract drawings and specifications.
- Overall responsibility for pre contract supervision, including tender briefing and measurement compilation into bills of pricing as well as tender evaluation and submission.
- Liaised with the project manager on method of work, cost budgeting, and analysis for post contract matters.
Requirements:
- A diploma in civil engineering.
- Experience in building civil projects with the main contractor in construction projects.
- Shall be well versed in different levels of government agencies and construction regulations.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a quantity surveyor for building construction projects.
