Purpose of Job
1. Work on deals for the Mosque including acquisitions, procurement, funds and financial monthly; maximising opportunities for the mosque.
2. Handle all aspect of large transactions for the Mosque, including due diligence and supporting HOD in timely & professional manner.
3. Provide high quality administrative and clerical assistant to department heads
4. Maintain Mosque Finance SOPs as per Mosque Financial Regulations
5. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external guests
6. Assist Head in the areas of Mosque Administrations, Front Desk, Fees Management & Events
Responsibilities
Financial accounting and corporate reporting
· Maintain accurate journal entries and allocations
· Reconcile accounts and provide analysis for the organisation’s financial transactions
· Ensure compliance to finance SOPs as per Mosque Financial Regulations
Support strategic planning initiatives
· Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
· Compute the valuation of business and financial assets using different models
Support working capital management
· Manage accounts payable and receivables to help the organisation determine working capital needs and funding strategies
· Calculate the cost of different types of capital financial instruments and the overall costs of capital for the organisation
Support internal and external audit activities
· Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit process
· Respond to internal and external auditors on audit data, variances and audit findings
· Implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls to prevent possible fraud and errors
· Resolve issues and deficiencies arising from audit findings
Process business transactions and reports using information technology tools
· Operate accounting information systems efficiently and effectively
· Extract data and provide analysis for management using relevant accounting information systems or software
General Administrative duties
· Ordering of refreshment for any meetings, etc.
· Assist in fees management together with other units in the mosque.
· Other logistical support
Customer & Counter Service
· To coordinate with all units to receive daily information updates of events and programs for effective counter service
· Deal with queries from callers and walk-in guests
· Accept donation over the counter
· Coordinate with other units in the mosque for activities
Job Requirements
· Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
· At least 2 years of working experience in related field
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Matured, dynamic, analytical & meticulous in details
· Strong communication skills
· Experience in Qirom, Quickbooks & School Learning Portal is an advantage
