In your new role you will:
- Lead a team of equipment engineers to ensure the smooth operation of final test equipment, meeting specific targets on product delivery and overall OEE, encompassing cycle time, yield, and capacity, while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Provide engineering support to resolve daily operation issues, collaborating with a team of multidiscipline equipment, process, and product engineers, manufacturing supervisors, and technicians
- Lead systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis of manufacturing issues, providing immediate containment actions and pursuing long-term corrective solutions
- Establish equipment specifications, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures, and deliver continuous improvement activities to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements
- Drive and implement efficiency, quality, and yield improvement initiatives with cross-team partners, including Production, Planning, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Quality, and Facility
- Lead the equipment maintenance team to drive equipment improvements, and perform equipment analyses, including preventative and unscheduled maintenance
- Setting performance objectives, conducting performance reviews, and recommending pay actions
- Address issues with impact beyond own team, based on knowledge of related disciplines, and adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Min 10 years of experience in final test equipment in the semiconductor industry/assembly with min 5 years in a managerial position
- Experience in Tri temp IC Test Handler Eg. Delta Matrix/Advantest M48xxseries is preferred.
- Min 5 years of exposure to high-volume manufacturing organizations, preferably with high-precision automated manufacturing experience
- In-depth knowledge of high-end automation design principles, capital manufacturing equipment, metrology, testers, instrumentation, data analytics, PLC, automation scripting, and software
- Strong background in 6 Sigma, data-based analysis of process performances, and operational excellence tools, such as Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, DMAIC, and SPC
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives (must have )
- Experience with SAP and/or major ERP/MRP systems and processes at a user level
- Technically sound with a strong desire to build technical competency
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
