Job Responsibilities:
The Bell Attendant plays an important role as they are the person to provide the first impression to arriving guests. They are always well groomed, confident, and pleasant when in contact with guests. Their duties include having to greet guests, direct them for check-in, escort them, and carry their luggage to rooms. They are vigilant and ensure that guests’ belongings are safe and secure, and check to ensure that labels are tagged to the correct luggage in the storage room.
- Explain room's amenities and facilities to guests
- Good knowledge of tourist areas around property
- Always keep a professional image at the workplace and when with guests
- Communicate and relate well with others at the workplace
- Ensure that the service vision is shown through service provided to guests
- Provide bell services to guests such as escorting and delivering luggage
- Provide workplace safety and security
- Put in extra effort and provide go-the-extra-mile service to guests
- Use essential functions of a mobile device to aid in job duties
- Provide support to other departments when needed
