Through the years, our products are well received by our Singapore based customers has collaborated with us through our design, implementation, and maintenance projects. As part of BOSCH’s business expansion strategy, our Security Solutions Business Unit is seeking for a technical competent System Engineer to join our team in Singapore office.
Provide support on system hardware/software design, solving of technical issues, perform Testing and Commissioning (T&C) of the entire system.
Project Planning: 15% of time involved
- Identify any non-conformity of project requirements on security systems design proposal
- Support on the design for equipment console & 19" racking system for SMS/CCTV system equipment
- Design of the interconnecting cabling requirements for all equipment in the console & racks
- Liaise with 3rd party vendor on detail equipment listing & configuration requirement
- Establish the requirements for 3rd party system implementation & integration to SMS/CCTV system
- Establish overall system design configuration for implementation
- Customization of interface Control Panel & circuit termination drawing designs for SMS/CCTV System including schematics
Project implementation: 35% of time involved
- Coordinate with project team on the T&C schedule for manpower deployment. Survey site condition & readiness for T&C if necessary.
- Liaise with vendor/Project staff in setting up of the control room equipment
- Ensure proper equipment installation compliance to approved design drawing
- Support for Project staff on installation of CCTV field device
- Interact & work with consultant to understand CCTV configuration requirement
Testing and Commissioning (T&C): 40% of time involved
- Lead the T&C team to commission field devices according to the checklist & schedule given
- Setup & commission fiber, video, data equipment/system
- Setup, configure & commission the CCTV Switcher System to meet consultant's defined requirements
- Preparation of training manuals & conduct system maintenance training to client's appointed maintenance staff
- Preparation of training manuals & conduct system operation training to client's appointed operational staff
Reporting: 10% of time involved
- Reporting various system T&C status with respect to milestone schedule to Section Head
- Reporting all technical problem hindering T&C progress to Section Head
