Responsibilities
- Assist the Contract Manager in overseeing the whole warehouse operations
- Responsible for ensuring CEVA business and operational objectives and KPIs are met
- Lead and direct staff in daily activities to ensure smooth and efficient running of overall operations.
- Planning on staff load, equipment, storage and daily tasks to ensure adequate resources are consistently available to meet customer’s requirements.
- Plans and assures adequate equipment for storage, loading and delivery of goods.
- Perform inventory management, productivity, accuracy and loss prevention programs to ensure that customers’ requirements are met.
- Plan and manage the P&L for the respective account to ensure on time deliveries.
- Direct activities to limit cost, improve accuracy, safety and to provide and maintain good customer service level.
- Implements safety, security, housekeeping and sanitation programs.
- Generate monthly performance data / reports to ensure that customers’ requirements are met.
- Implement work improvement initiatives and programs such as 5S, Kaizens, LEAN and SCA program with the goal of achieving CEVA standards of Operational Excellence
- Monitoring the performance and productivity of employees and teams, providing coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
- Working cross-departmentally with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that all operations are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Overseeing staffing plans and supervising, hiring, and training new employees
- Work with management team to optimize warehousing and logistics operation.
- Responsible for people and warehousing resources management to deliver effective and efficient operation services to customers. Strong in people management.
- Conduct and prepare the material for operational review meeting (e.g. Monthly Operation Review, Quarterly Operation Review, Operation Improvement Review, etc.) with internal and external customers.
- Resolve logistics service failures directly with customers and operational team. Strong in RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) analyze and resolutions.
- Strong in Inventory Management and have proven record of achievement of 100% accuracy via Daily Cycle Count.
- Able to build good customer relationship to achieve excellence customer experiences.
- Enforce process compliance and ensure operations meet and achieve customer’s expectation and KPIs.
- Holding accountability for quality PPM.
- Driving and delivering yearly CIP commitments.
- Conduct regular Gemba walks with clients in the warehouse to observe operations and discuss improvements.
- Weekly quality meetings with clients, presenting scorecards to review performance metrics.
- Participate in meetings with key customer stakeholders, including Purchasing and Planning departments, to align on objectives and strategies
Requirements
- Degree in any discipline
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience and experience in managing and leading large operations team
- In-plant logistics experience will be an advantage
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Experience with customer dealing at all levels
- Good planning, communication and people skills
