RSP is seeking a motivated and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, design, and execution of geotechnical engineering projects. You will work closely with our civil and structural engineering teams to provide technical expertise on a variety of projects, ensuring safe, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conduct site investigations and analyze soil, rock, and groundwater data.
- Assist in the design and analysis of foundations, retaining structures, and other geotechnical aspects of construction include design of ERSS/GBW.
- Prepare technical reports, including geotechnical assessments and recommendations.
- Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate geotechnical findings into overall project design.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure geotechnical specifications are met.
- Utilize geotechnical software and tools for modeling and analysis.
- Carry out appropriate design of structural nature where required
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, preferred Master degree specialize in Geotechnical recognized by PE board
- At least 3 years of experience in in geotechnical and ERSS, GBW design
- Proficiency in geotechnical analysis and design software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, ETABS, STADDPro etc.).
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and site investigation techniques including ERSS/ GBW design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
