Our client is a leading commodity shipping and vessel management company with established key partnerships across the region and internationally and are now looking for an IT Support Executive to join their dynamic and fun-loving team!
Work location: Alexandra
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Update Company’s IT Policy and ensure compliance
- Provide day to day IT support to end-users within the company
- Provide IT support for Vessels via remote tools or vessel visit if required
- Support and ensure normal IT server operations within the company and vessels
- Maintain and update Office Hardware inventory
- Administer Company's Marine ERP's
- Ensure that backup and replication is done for ERP's and office servers
- Collaborate with other Business Units on new technological needs or expand uses for existing technologies to increase functionality or efficiency if required
- Arrange or conduct IT training for new users or technologies
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required
- Maintain/create user documentation and training materials
- Actively explore and deploy new software/hardware, unit standards, policies and procedures and effectively manages to achieve them when required
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ IT support experience in shipping companies
- Basic SQL Knowledge to run/apply queries
- Education qualification in Information Technology or equivalent
- Good communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
