Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales/Business Development Specialist at LEAPS by HRnet in Singapore. The specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to identify, qualify, and convert leads into profitable client engagements. This role requires a strong understanding of the HR consulting industry, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Lead Generation
- Conduct market research to identify and understand target client segments within the HR consulting industry.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive lead generation strategy, leveraging various channels (e.g., networking events, industry conferences, digital marketing campaigns, cold calling).
- Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and decision-making authority.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and potential referral partners.
Sales Process Management
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial lead qualification to proposal development and closing deals.
- Develop compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of the firm's HR consulting services.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure win-win outcomes.
- Oversee the sales pipeline and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Identify and address potential sales objections and roadblocks throughout the sales process.
Client Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their unique HR challenges and objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and solutions that address client needs and align with the firm's consulting expertise.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales cycle and after deal closure.
Strategic Initiatives
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement co-marketing initiatives to generate leads and brand awareness.
- Track and analyse sales data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in the sales process.
- Assist in developing sales collateral and marketing materials to support sales efforts.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the HR consulting industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the HR consulting industry and its value proposition.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and sales prospecting tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
