The candidate uses building information modeling software to create a three-dimensional visual plan for a project. Building information models are virtual files used to aid decision-making during the building process. He/she work closely with architects and engineers to develop designs for clients. BIM modelers need to have excellent artistic, technical, and computer skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Use BIM (Building Information Modelling) to perform drawing and design work.
- Coordinate and liaise with project and construction team on submissions, updates or changes, and checking for clashes with other trades.
- Make the necessary changes in drawing as per comments given by project and construction team.
- Assist in maintaining BIM standards as well as workflow in accordance to company standards.
- Ensure accuracy of documents based on BIM Modelling
- Document control of submissions (Technical data, shop-drawings, as-built)
- To comply with BIM Manager Execution Plan and BIM Project workflow criteria
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Building Construction industry
- Experience in using AutoCAD and BIM Revit software
- Proficient in Singapore BIM Guidelines
- Good interpersonal skills, initiative and positive working attitude
