The Chinese Media Group Young Audience publishes titles including ZBComma, Thumbs Up, Thumbs Up Junior and Thumbs Up Little Junior for young children and students ranging from preschool to secondary school. The Young Audience team is looking for a creative, enterprising and digitally-savvy Digital Content Specialist to join the team. As a Digital Content Specialist, you will work closely with the newsroom to produce creative and engaging content targeting youths and ensure that the titles maintain a strong online presence among students, parents and teachers.
You are required to:
- Stay on top of hot news topics and trends among youths to produce timely, engaging digital content for ZBSchools.sg
- Manage day-to-day operations of all social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Telegram and TikTok, adapting content to suit different channels
- Oversee, plan and deliver content across different social media platforms
- Plan, shoot and edit short form videos/reels for social media platforms.
- Develop and manage campaigns to drive engagement and publicise signature events.
- Track content performance and social media growth using analytics tools, derive actionable insights from data and provide regular reports
Requirements
- Degree in Mass Communications, Advertising or Marketing preferred; at least two years of relevant working experience and expertise in managing social media platforms for media, brands or organisational communications
- Effectively bilingual in written/spoken English and Chinese as this role supports Chinese Publications
- Experience in youth/millennial-focused content curation, and image/video editing tools such as Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, and interactive content tools such as Genially would be advantageous
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics and social media management tools
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
