It is committed to becoming the first choice for users to discover and purchase good products with affordable prices. Global E-Commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.
The international supply chain and logistics team integrates logistics, warehousing, transportation and other resources to build a global "goods accessible" network, to provide international e-commerce customers with low-cost, high-efficiency, and high-determinacy supply chain and logistics solutions supporting multiple business models, and enhance consumer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct data science and analytics for international e-commerce supply chain and logistics.
- Apply the latest statistics and machine learning methods to merchant and supply chain management to facilitate business growth.
- Work with development, product, and operations teams to optimize supply chain logistics functionalities using statistical or machine learning techniques.
- Analyze and deconstruct the impact of logistics strategies, contributing to data-driven decision-making and capabilities like forecasting and simulation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or relevant fields, with 3 years of experience in data mining, machine learning or operational research.
2. Proficient in SQL and data analysis/modeling with R/Python. Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Flink is a plus.
3. Knowledgeable in data analytics, mining techniques, and machine learning or optimization algorithms, with an understanding of deep learning principles.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and work well in a team.
5. Skilled in cross-team collaboration, business acumen, and strong communication, with resilience and interest in new technologies and challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in supply chain or logistics and practices in big data or algorithm engineering is desirable.
