Job summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships and expanding our client base.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growth in market share within assigned sales territory (Southeast Asia/India).
- Manage customers' expectations with quick response to customers' queries.
- Provide technical consultation to customers' requirements.
- Develop and manage relationship with customers.
- Prepare costing, quotation and technical proposal.
- Support and lead assigned projects.
- Develop and identify business potentials.
- Perform market potential analysis and competitor analysis.
- Propose and implement sales strategy to meet company's growth and revenue plan.
- Maintain close communication with Regional Key Account Management to align regional strategies.
- Other duties or projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics or Business Management or its equivalent.
- 5 – 7 years’ experience in automotive electronics industry, preferably with business development and sales experience.
- Sales / Business development experience in automotive industry, with Southeast Asia or Indian customers.
- Ability to listen and pro-actively react to customer questions and requests.
- Goal-oriented and extremely hard working.
- Self-driven, independent and enthusiastic to succeed.
- Capable of collaborating with teams and achieving results.
- Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
- Good communication in English. Mandarin speaking is an advantage.
- Proactive, extrovert personality, team player & goal focus.
- Ability to work under pressure in a structured environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
