Assistant IT Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Assist in the implementation of IT projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and within established timelines.
  • Independently drive smaller projects from start to finish and ensure its successful completion.
  • Provide first-level support to end-users, resolving technical issues and inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist in the configuration and deployment of project related hardware and software solutions.
  • Provide and maintain accurate records of project-related activities and technical support requests.
  • Evaluate projects progress and prepare detailed reports for the management in a timely manner.
  • Assist in user training and documentation as needed.
  • Support both pre and post projects follow up
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
  • Support and provide Level 1 support to end-users on hardware related issues.
  • Manage and successfully implement global group’s policies related to Infrastructure
  • Assist in the configuration and deployment of Infrastructure related hardware and software solutions.
  • Provide and maintain accurate records of support-related activities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in providing IT support or working on IT projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies is a plus.

  • Technical skillsets in Infrastructure
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong teamwork & good resource planning skills with attention to details
  • A self-motivator who can work both independently & as part of a team
