Job Description
- Responsible for the management of Ready To Eat (RTE) meals. He/she will perform the incoming inspection of rations and digitalize the inspection results in S4 HANA System, to ensure that they adhere to the specifications and the Contract requirements.
- Keep track the RTE accessories introduction and ensuring all RTE and its accessories comply with contract requirements.
- Perform the vetting of documents & necessary testing for meet RTE meals, to verify the products meet the Product Specifications and comply to the requirements stipulated in Contract.
- Manage the QA routine sampling of RTE meals for testing, compile the test results and analysis the data using Pivot or Business Performance Monitoring Tools.
- Plan and manage the routine RTE meals joint inspection with partnering Organization & Control Team, prior to positive release. He/she will liaise with the customer and departments such as Warehouse, Packing and Operations on the inspection schedule and checking of RTE meals offered, to ensure a smooth inspection.
- Conduct the routine inspection of rations at Customer’s Warehouse Logistic and monthly hygiene inspection of SFS Dry Store.
- Support QA team during external food safety certification, customer audit and during investigation pertaining to customer complaint or alleged food poisoning incident.
- Support QA team for partnering Catering Ops to conduct monthly food safety & hygiene inspection where necessary, which include hygiene swabs, to ensure operation comply with the HACCP food safety practices & procedures, hygiene practices and meeting contract requirement.
- Support QA team during external food safety certification, customer audit, ad-hoc catering event and during investigation pertaining to customer complaint, foreign matter or alleged food poisoning incident.
- Support QA Manager & QA team as and when required for the following activities: QA project, QA inspection at Main Kitchen operations, event catering, ad-hoc inspection, customer complaints and QA validation study.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Food Science / Technology or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 2 year of QA / Production experience in the food industry is required.
- Passionate in upholding food safety and possess good knowledge of SFA, GMP, HACCP, ISO22000 requirements.
- Competent in writing QA report and innovative in preparing the presentation slides for QA and Management monthly meeting.
- Meticulous and uphold integrity in performing the QA roles and function at all times.
- Ability to multi task, handle work in a fast a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
- Independent, committed, have strong interpersonal communication skills and able to communicate effectively between inter-departmental levels.
- Fit and capable to conduct QA sampling of incoming food consignment for QC inspection and routine QA test. Must be comfortable to work in a cold environment.
