Selected candidates will be offered a 2-Year Contract with our Client in the Government Sector, with a view to convert to Permanent.
Senior candidates with more experience may be considered for the Senior or Lead Analyst role.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the Workday HRIS system for users.
- Establish and optimize scalable processes to ensure HR best practices.
- Identify opportunities for business process re-engineering (BPR) initiatives to enhance productivity by transforming, streamlining, and continuously improving work processes.
- Identify new Workday requirements, liaise with users to understand additional needs, and communicate effectively.
- Troubleshoot Workday technical issues promptly, identifying flaws and inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for long-term performance and security enhancement.
- Collaborate with agency leads and IT teams to resolve Workday issues, enhance user experience, and ensure consistent solutions across all agencies.
- Develop Workday guidelines, manuals, and conduct user training sessions.
- Conduct regular Workday reviews and generate reports on efficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Structure and prioritize agencies’ Workday requirements, engaging stakeholders for review, approval, and implementation.
- Stay abreast of the latest HRIS technology and best practices.
Key Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in IT, Project Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an HRIS role, preferably working with Enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and hands-on experience in HR processes, with the ability to integrate them into the HRIS.
- Knowledge of Compensation and Performance processes, and familiarity with Public Service HR policies and practices preferred.
- Experience managing data, HR transactions, and processes in HRIS. Prior experience with Workday implementation and/or maintenance preferred.
- Ability to engage stakeholders, gather feedback, and collaborate on solutions effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with proficient documentation abilities.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and considering long-term operational perspectives to address user-centric needs.
- Good planning skills to manage HRIS annual maintenance milestones and new initiatives, while keeping stakeholders engaged.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
