Responsibilities
1. Commissioning:
- Conduct Installation Quality inspection of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems, including indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant piping, electrical connections, and control wiring.
- Conduct system commissioning to ensure proper functionality, efficiency, and performance.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate commissioning of VRF systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to technicians during the installation process.
- Keep accurate records of project related information, including commissioning reports, customer interactions.
2. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to VRF systems, including Refrigerant leaks, electrical faults, and control malfunctions.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, checking Refrigerant levels, and inspecting system components for wear or damage.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot system Problems efficiently.
- Coordinate with the customer and internal teams to schedule and conduct Maintenance visits as required.
- Replace or repair defective parts and components to restore system Functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used and services provided.
3. Technical Support and Guidance:
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding VRF system Operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Conduct training sessions for customers to ensure they understand the proper use and maintenance of VRF systems.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide effective solutions to their technical concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent customer service.
4. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working on VRF systems.
- Follow proper procedures for handling refrigerants, electrical components, and hazardous materials.
- Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards or concerns.
Requirements
- Minimum Nitec in Facility Technology (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the commissioning, and troubleshooting of VRF systems.
- Strong knowledge of VRF technology, refrigeration principles, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for system Troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
