Sandbar Swimwear is the leading family swimwear brand in Singapore, dedicated to eco-conscious practices and passionate about the oceans. Our swimwear is made from recycled plastic bottles and for every item sold we remove 1 KG of ocean plastic waste.
Sandbar Swimwear is also committed to providing high-quality, unique premium swimwear for across the family, with popular matching designs, premium finishing and bestselling high end textured and embroidered fabrics.
Established only recently in 2022 Sandbar Swimwear has grown quickly. Currently there are 2 stores in Singapore and exciting new stores opening within the next year as well as 10 stockiest globally across luxury hotels and resorts.
As part of our further expansion plan we are hiring a Retail Sales Assistant full time and part time who embodies our values of environmental responsibility and exceptional customer service, ready to lead our dynamic store team and drive our mission forward. The Retail Sales Assistant would have an exciting career path and package that grows with Sandbar.

About the role:
- Provide an excellent client experience demonstrating knowledge about product, delivering the mission and ethos behind the brand and serving clients.
- Hitting targets and individual KPIs. e.g. up-selling of products, building relationships with clients and discovering new opportunities with potential clients.
- Uphold housekeeping standards in all areas of the store and able to maintain the visual display of the products.
- Offer exceptional service standards, suggestions and alternatives, as well as anticipating future needs.
- Take a proactive learning approach in understanding best sellers, new arrivals, product knowledge and all category information.
- Ensure that the Boutique appearance is up to standards and the display of products are presented in accordance with specifications.
- Have complete and accurate knowledge of the Brand and our products.
- Follow authorization and reporting procedures.
- Follow brand policies.
- Champion Our Mission: Embody Sandbar Swimwear's mission to pull 1m KGs of plastic from the ocean and relay our commitment to sustainability to all customers coming into the store.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service to all clients, helping them with sizing, fitting and giving them an unforgettable experience.
- Sales and Service Leadership: Ensure an engaging customer experience, leading by example in sales services to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Upselling and ensuring customers are purchasing mutlple products in store.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Understanding to the core the brand story and be ale to take all customers through the journey.
- Sales Goals Alignment: Driven by individual sales goals. Demonstrate a clear understanding of sales goals and align team behaviors to achieve these objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Energetic, self-motivated, positive and can-do attitude. One or more years of customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
- Good team player with good interpersonal skill; strong in selling and customer service.
- Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written English.
- Able to multitask.
- Work effectively individually as well as in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service.
- Availability: Flexible to work shifts between store open hours 10am - 9pm Monday to Sunday. Public holidays paid extra if opted to work.
- Age and Language: Must be at least 16 years old and fluent in English. Any additional language would be positive for your application.
Qualifications:
• Must currently be in Singapore, Singapore resident, Citizen or PR
• At least one years experience in retail shop sales. Some experience in womens/mens/kids wear or the environmental industry is a plus.
